Born in Belgrade and later adopted by Italy, Marijana graduates in Italian Literature and moves to Florence, homeland of both the cultural and artistic Renaissance turnover of the 400s and the innovative vision of the world that would subsequently pervade both Italy and all other parts of Europe.

 

Her home and studio nestled amongst the foothills of Fiesole, feeds on nature and history which both inspire and allow her creative expression to blossom.

 

Thus we find jewelry, ceramics and paintings inspired by symbolism and archetypes of the human psyche. An enchanted world, hand -made ornaments and complements further inlaid with semiprecious stones spring from brass, silver, terracotta and natural resins. An emotional language exuding through forms and decors and leading into the marvels of suggestive uniqueness, to be found only in the descriptive magic of ARTchemy.

 

Years of meditation and holistic disciplines call her to engage in “Focusing”, a self-awareness modality of which she subsequently becomes a certified trainer.

 

Her home and studio where she resides host her artistic creativity and individual Focusing sessions, combined with Mindfulness, Mandala painting workshops and intuitive writing.

Thus the magic world of ARTchemy allows for a harmonious co- existence comprising study, research and expressions of art.
